INTRODUCING THE NEW UNROLLA LX104

A compact new package with even more strength, more feeding aggression, more versatility and less maintenance

The toughest, simplest, and most versatile round bale feeding solution on the market.

Now with 4′ bale chamber

EVOLUTION OF THE ORIGINAL

Through our pursuit of perfection, we never stand still. Always searching for those tweaks to build upon the strong foundation Hustler’s original Unrolla’s has founded. The release of the latest 2022 model sees key features retained, but refined, the introduction of a new compact variation for use in smaller barns or with smaller tractors and durability takes another major industry leap ahead.

More Compact

We’ve introduced a new model specifically for 4′ wide bales (the most popular bale size worldwide) which makes for an ultra-compact Unrolla for improved maneuverability, visibility, and operator safety when using it at the front of a tractor or in tight areas.

More Strength & Reliability

From the introduction of our new HardLine sprockets, additional 5 extra feed bars provide more feeding aggression, extra strength and eliminate derailing chains, stronger teeth (now 8-mm thick) for more power transmission, a new Chain tensioner design, and an improved headstock design with extra gussets all providing greater strength to weight ratio

More Ease-of-use

Our patented Snaplox auto-latching system has been a game-changer in the industry, thanks to it utilizing the same hook system as the more conventional rope-pull-release type but automatic (can be used with or automatically without a rope). We’ve made some small tweaks to the design to make it even more fool-proof.

New Compact Design (LX104)

With a new compact design, the mounted Unrolla round bale unrollers have a center of gravity closer to the tractor. The cradle still offers a generous space on the Unrolla LX104 (allowing more spare room for a 4” bale) with no chance for the bale to be jammed. This design has been developed with the operator’s ease of use and safety in mind, with unrivaled stability even when mounted on the smallest compact loader.

New and improved headstock

A new headstock frame has been recently developed to make it stronger with thicker steel, extra gussets an improved bale lead-in design to the front fence, bale loading sequence. The bottom of the headstock frame is now narrower to allow the operator to spear the bale lower, which ultimately offers an easier loading sequence.

New dual auto-latch system

New and improved high-mounted connection latches on both sides of the feeder take the load off the cradle, which removes any load from the bale spears. The auto-latch spring is now fully encapsulated providing a more reliable, positive connection to handle the heaviest bales. The mounted Unrolla bale unrollers also benefits from the unique patented Hustler’s Snaplox™ auto connect/disconnect hands-free loading system saves you time, saves you having to tug on a rope to disconnect, and saves you from twisting your back.

New chain tensioners

The chain tensioners are built into the machine frame, should you ever need to adjust the pre-set chain tension. The design has been improved to make the chain tensioners even stronger with less risk of damaging the system and a longer life for the chain. It is now also even easier to adjust than before.

New HardLine™ drive sprockets

Our new 6-tooth HardLine™ sprockets are made from high-tensile wear-plate Bisalloy® 80 steel (the same material used in bulldozer blades) so they last forever. With smaller diameter yet longer teeth, our 165-mm (6.5-in) sprockets require less torque to drive the chains, giving more drive power for tough bales. With a fully enclosed design, it is virtually impossible for the chain to jump off the sprockets, saving you downtime during your feeding routine.

New aggressive teeth

Four 60-mm (2.36-in) long teeth are placed on each feed bars. We made them stronger and are now 8-mm (0.3-in) thick to prevent bending or snagging of hay and to ensure Hustler’s strength remains a step ahead of others

More Feedbars & Aggression

We’ve added 5 extra feedbars to the latest model to improve feeding aggression on tight and hard center bales to keep up with the shift to higher density balers. The extra bars also keep the chains running straighter eliminating the chance of derailed chains.

HUSTLER UNROLLA LX104 new strong floor bars

New stronger floor bars

We’ve increased the section strength of our bars to 40 x 40 x 4 mm (1.5 x 1.5 x 0.157 in) RHS (square hollow section) fitted. They are 4 to 5 times more resistant to torsion than angle-boxed type bars of the same size. For increased rigidity, the bars are bolted to the chain and can be replaced in a matter of minutes without breaking the chain.
