Hey guys, it’s Jayden here with Hustler Equipment and I often get asked how is the chainless bale processor gonna handle my frozen bales? Maybe you’re in the North of Canada or Northern United States and there’s a couple reasons why it does a really good job of that. First of all is you can see the these teeth on these rotors here are very aggressive teeth, at least a quarter inch thick I’d say. And then to top that off they’re also spinning at a three to one ratio so the bottom rotor is spinning a third of the speed of the top rotor.

So it’s not that they’re both just spinning the exact same and wanting to chuck your frozen bale over the edge. They’re actually beating it up just a little bit as it goes Allowing these teeth to really dig in and tease that hay out as you go. And then the other the other reason why it does a good job with those frozen bales is this this platform here. So this one’s just assembled ready to ship out but you can see this this platform can actually be lifted up so you’re not just relying on the aggressiveness of the rotors to tease that hay out but you’re actually able to take that platform and push it into the rotors a bit and it just increases that aggression and feeds out those bales beautifully.

So thanks for watching. And if you got any other questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. See you on the next one.
