US Youtuber put the innovative Hustler CakeBucket to the test on his Michigan dairy farm

Today, we will explore the insights shared by Ryan Siemen, a farmer from the 5 Star Dairy family farm in Michigan, United States. After testing the CakeBucket on various types of feed for the heifers, Ryan gained enough confidence to use it for bedding straw to the rearing calves. Ryan explains that the calves’ bedding is made of straw run through a tub grinder because he found ground straw to be better at absorbing moisture.

Ryan highlights the significance of machinery that allows farmers to accomplish more with fewer personnel, thereby increasing productivity. “Getting machines that are able to take the people side out of it and make it so that you can use less people and get the same amount of work or more work done. That’s what we’re looking for, and that’s what the Hustler CakeBucket provides us with,” Ryan said.
