Square Bale Feeder For Sale in Australia

Machines and equipment that is designed and manufactured in isolation from the environment that it is designed for seldom add value to the end-user experience. Even with the best intentions, without the input of those that understand what is important and where problems typically arise such products promise more than they ever deliver.

Square bale feeders are a good example of a machine that carries out a vital job on the farm and when designed with efficiency, reliability and versatility in mind it creates new possibilities for farmers in terms of how they can use their time.

Square Bale Feeders by Hustler Are Unlike Any Others

At Hustler Equipment, we believe in innovation that inspires and leads to incredible results. We provide the agricultural community with state of the art equipment that helps achieve healthier, timely feeding conditions that simultaneously lead to reductions in waste and increases in profits.

Farming life is challenging but that does not mean that it cannot be fulfilling and so we are committed to affording you access to tools that will enhance the way that you work and eliminate the frustration that comes from feeling bogged down with equipment and machines that simply are behind the times.

We understand how important it is to deliver on the promises that we make, which is why all of our products carry a full 2-year warranty. There is also an option available to secure a further 2-years of ‘extra care’ warranty when you buy so that you are covered for even longer.

How We Achieve a Reliable Feed Out of Square Bales

One of the main issues that continually came to our attention through personal experience as well as the research and development phase was that the reliability of feeder systems was notoriously poor. A large square bale feeder that jams or that unevenly distributes the feed only creates more work for the farmer. Our goal was to find smart, simple ways to streamline such systems so that they achieve consistently excellent results.

When you invest in machines made by the team here at Hustler Equipment, even though they are setting the benchmark for innovation, you will quickly appreciate just how easy they are to operate. We don’t want to create machines that require extensive learning or time that you simply do not have to spare just to figure out the controls.

As such, to achieve a reliable feed out from our large square hay bale feeders we have reduced the number of moving parts that are incorporated into the design. There are also no wearing parts within our machines, which means that you will have to carry out a lot less maintenance on them.

Video testimonials from farmers in Australia and the United States on our site speak to just how reliable our hydraulic powered system is, the ease with which it can be connected, operated and controlled. Within a day or a couple of days, these customers were fully aware of how to work the machine and have made significant savings and profits as a result of the efficiencies they can now achieve.

How Much a Hustler will Save You?

Most of the savings are achieved by a reduction in the amount of bale which is wasted.

Feed wastage can be caused by various factors:
1) The bale is not teased apart enough making it harder for stock to eat.
2) Animals laying or trampling on fodder.
3) Unfinished bales inside ring feeders due to poor ground conditions, not allowing animals to reach the leftover bale.
4) Stock rejecting feed because of dirt, mud or other contaminants.

Savings can be made by feeding the right amount of the bale and retaining the rest for the next feed. By feeding over a larger area compare to a ring feeder, there is less competition between the animals.

Typical savings achieved by using a Hustler Chainless bale feeder are between 15-40%, depending on your existing feeding system (chain feeders typically save 10-35%).
