Looking for a Bale Feeder for Sale in Australia?

bale feeder is one of the few machines that the majority of farmers that own one will confirm is essential where time savings are concerned. However, many complain that the model they invested in often unevenly distributes the bale, which results in clumps of feed. Inevitably, your livestock will leave behind a significant portion of what fell from the bale and this becomes waste that serves no purpose other than creating additional work for you.

At Hustler Equipment, we believe that there is a better, more efficient way to complete the feeding process. We are a New Zealand based family-owned business that has led the field over the past 50 years with regards to the innovative machines that we make available to the agricultural community. Our goal is to help you achieve a streamlined system of bale distribution that will maximise the return on spending for each bale, and limit the waste that accumulates to its absolute minimum.

The end result for our customers is much greater and efficient use of their feedstuffs, which means a better level of profitability and a reduction in time spent on the feeding process. Our products are designed to give you a versatile, simple and reliable alternative to the commonly used machines that populate the market. Thousands of farmers already reap the many benefits that our farming machines afford them and we want to count you among them, too.

How Much a Hustler will Save You?

Most of the savings are achieved by a reduction in the amount of bale which is wasted.

Feed wastage can be caused by various factors:
1) The bale is not teased apart enough making it harder for stock to eat.
2) Animals laying or trampling on fodder.
3) Unfinished bales inside ring feeders due to poor ground conditions, not allowing animals to reach the leftover bale.
4) Stock rejecting feed because of dirt, mud or other contaminants.

Savings can be made by feeding the right amount of the bale and retaining the rest for the next feed. By feeding over a larger area compare to a ring feeder, there is less competition between the animals.

Typical savings achieved by using a Hustler Chainless bale feeder are between 15-40%, depending on your existing feeding system (chain feeders typically save 10-35%).
