Upgrading to a CH4000

10 years ago, Waimate Angus Stud breeder Mr Alexander was recommended to look at the Hustler Chainless 4000 Balefeeder – he is glad he did. Running 700 cattle on 380ha in Waimate can bring its challenges and one of them is feeding out. Mr Alexander is feeding about 320 bales a year through his Hustler CH4000 and he’s “thrilled with it”.

“We make our own round bales through a Welger baler with no knives. From time to time we have had some squares bought in and this machine does them well too,” Mr Alexander reports. “The Hustler has very little maintenance and has been trouble free. We are a very simple setup with 1-2 staff and machinery consisting of a 5120 Case, Hustler Balefeeder, Maxi till, Postdriver + the baler. The Hustler has been absolutely amazing, it was among the first in the district & now there are a lot more,” he says. The recommendation certainly paid off.
