UNROLLA Bale Unrollers

The UNROLLA ale feeders are real “all-rounders”.

Compact and lightweight, they are simple to use and can easily squeeze into low buildings or narrow corridors, as long as your tractor passes through.

Ideal for round bales, whether hay, straw or wraps, they can handle some cubic bales thanks to optional side bars.

They are also capable of distributing all types of bulk feed (silage, cereals, fodder beet, etc.), thanks to a fully enclosed base (standard) and front and rear plates (optional) that prevent loss of material.

Save time and protect your back by distributing your forage in just a few minutes! The integrated bale spike means you can load your bales without having to use a secondary tractor.

Available in mounted (3-point linkage, front loader, telescopic handler) and trailed versions.

CHAINLESS Bale Feeders

CHAINLESS bale feeders are capable of handling both round and square bales. Thanks to their innovative system of shredding rotors combined with a jack-mounted platform, CHAINLESS bale feeders are aggressive enough to handle even the densest bales.

The crop is thus evenly untangled and aerated, making it more palatable to your livestock: this unwinder will be your best ally in minimising rejects and saving up to 40% on your fodder!

This range is particularly recommended for those wishing to preserve the integrity of long stems and delicate fodder such as alfalfa.

The integrated bale spike saves you time by allowing you to load your bales without having to use a secondary tractor.

Available in mounted (3-point linkage, front loader, telescopic handler) and trailed versions. The mounted version can also be adapted to a fixed position using optional remote hydraulic controls. Talk to your dealer about this solution!

Our customers' voice

British farmer ditched hay rings for a Hustler bale unroller saving him huge amounts of feed and time!

The Hallam family farms sheep in North Yorkshire, United Kingdom and bought their first Hustler Unrolla bale unroller back in 2010. They have now two more.

About 12 years ago, Steve was using hay rings to feed his sheep. But this wasn’t the right way for him and he “got sick of sheep breaking legs and getting stuck and just wasting a lot of haylage and stuff,” he recalled.

Looking for another solution, Steve discovered the Hustler mounted Unrolla bale feeder on a YouTube video and decided to request an on-farm demo… and the rest is history.

Scottish farmer switched to Hustler bale unroller, saving an hour a day and dozens of tons of silage!

Drew Kennedy farms in Aberfeldy, Scotland and discovered Hustler Unrolla LX105 bale unroller on a YouTube video. He requested a demo from his local Hustler dealer and the machine never left the farm! Today, Drew is using the unroller on his JCB telehandler and is able to feed his different mobs in a few minutes, saving about one hour every day. He is also managing to save lots of hay.

“The first I ever saw of a Hustler was actually watching on a YouTube video, believe it or not,” Drew said. Hustler maintains a regularly updated YouTube channel with testimonial videos and product news. “When I saw this machine working, I thought it has the potential of really working here at home. I asked if I could get a demonstration and the demonstration worked incredibly well,” Drew recalled.

Scottish sheep farmer saved his back while improving the condition of his ewes with a Hustler unroller

Bruce Findlay is a third-generation sheep farmer on the east coast of Scotland, and found that his old system of dropping full bales into his ring feeders was wasteful and also hurting his back. So he reached out to his local dealer and got a Hustler Unrolla LX105 to unroll his bales into the feeders instead and has been extremely happy with the purchase. The silage no longer builds up with mud and manure and he can see the difference in his ewes health. All-in-all, his Hustler is good for his ewes’ health and good for his own health too!

Time is Precious. This Irish Farmer Discovers Innovative Time Saver

You cannot buy time. But it can be saved. Feeding bales in Ireland come with its own unique set of challenges. We meet Michael Lough to find out about his farm, and how he’s making better use of his time easing his workload… Mike feeds around 250 round bales of silage each year, to both sheep and cattle, and recently invested in Hustler’s bale unroller to ease a backache from forking silage manually.
