Feed Savings

1. The leaves of the bale where a largest proportion of the nutritional goodness is found, are smashed to powder and blown away as dust.
2. Cattle need to sift through the stalks to find the grain from the bale and because the grain is smashed into fine pieces, lost into soil and not consumed
3. Any mold in a bale is mixed with the feed reducing palatability and consumption
4. Stock rejecting feed because of dirt, mud or other contaminants
5. By feeding over a larger area than with a bale processor, there is less competition between the animals
