1Compact and built to last – Careful attention to detail, smart chassis/tank/pump integration has allowed Hustler to produce the toughest and most compact sprayer available today that no longer needs to be parked on a pallet. And has a built-in SkidPlateTM protecting the vital parts from common obstacles faced when spraying.
2Easy To Use – No need to be a monkey! Katipo utilises space wisely with an Ultra-low profile design. Filling from on the ground is quick, safe and easy and with the spill catcher, no longer do you have chemicals down your front. A unique CoupleUpTM system makes connecting to filling stations or filling out of a creek with the Katipo pump a snap. And everything you need is handy at the left hand side.
3Ultimate Agitation – Utilising the latest computer generated flow simulation we’ve created the perfect flow of liquid within the tank and combined with our new MixMaxTM technology you can be assured that your solution is mixed, and stays mixed.
4Functional – Katipo is loaded with practical features that help you get the job done quicker such as quicker tank emptying, a deep sump that lets you spray on steep terrain, a ViziGaugeTM that is visible from the tractor seat and the ground, optional QuickFlushTM kit that lets you clean the sprayer in less than a minute, a toolbox that is quickly accessible with plenty of room for spare nozzles, filters and the controller when you park it in the shed.
5Modular Design Katipo is modular and can have optional time savers fitted as and when you like or your budget fits. The SlickFitTM spray valving system, lets you choose how you’d prefer to control your new Katipo.

Features
Ultra low profile
We understood the dangers of climbing onto sprayers with chemical, or to see inside the tank. So with careful tank/chassis integration we’ve kept it compact and ultra low so that you can easily operate the sprayer from on the ground.
CoupleUp filling system
Filling’s a snap, fill as you normally would through the lid or with our unique CoupleUpTM 2” tank filling system, if you have a mixing station or trash pump you can fill directly using that pump, or you can also utilise the Katipo’s own pump to fill out of a trough or stream with an optional 10m filling hose.
Agitation flow
To save you stripey paddocks, Hustler used the latest CAD flow simulation technology to create the perfect mix of fluid throughout the tank without dead spots
6 Metre DuraBoom
New Zealand’s toughest manual folding boom. The 20' DuraBoom with fully shielded AirMix nozzles, TaperLock pivots, Stainless tubes, quick fit anti-drip nozzles. Also available in 26'
Adjustable valve mount
The adjustable valve mount means when the sprayer is parked in the shed the valve can be adjusted out of harms way, then when you’re using the Katipo it can be adjusted forward so that it is easier to reach from the tractor.
ViziGauge
A floating ball tube gauge makes it easy to read the calibrated ViziGauge that is visible from 120 degrees, so you can easily see from the tractor and the ground how much fluid you have left
Unique chassis design
Compact and built to last, it has the biggest section in its class! Careful attention to detail and unique chassis/tank/pump integration has allowed Hustler to produce the most compact sprayer available today. The Katipo’s chassis has been CAD tested for stress and real life tested for fatigue on our destroyer. It lasted in excess of 4 times the required benchmark.
Linkage plates
ISO standard double clevis CAT 1 and CAT 2 linkage mounts are quicker to hook up and it doesn’t need to be parked on a pile of pallets
SkidPlate
A built in SkidPlate protects the vital parts from damage should you misjudge a hump or hollow
Tank drain
A high flow tank dump operated from the top of the tank saves you from climbing underneath to empty the tank and reduces clean up time.
Deep sump
A generous sump size is all part of the design, so that you can spray on steep terrain without sucking air and leaving missed patches
Toolbox and wash up
Integrated into the design is a handy toolbox that is quick and easy to open and has plenty of space for spare nozzles, filters and is also handy for storing controllers when the sprayer is not in use. It has a built in 4.8gal tank for clean water so that you can wash your hands once finished filling.
3 Section controls
3 section controls are standard with a pressure lock function which eliminates any accidental rate change and with our unique SlickFit system you can upgrade, or swap controls in a flash, as and when you like. The valves are protected and tidy behind the control mount.
Comet pump
New model 29 gal/min flow Comet pump. Any fluid is only in contact with either plastic or stainless steel parts which eliminates any chance of corrosion.
Large opening with spill catcher
The larger 17.9" lid to the tank with larger sieve, has a built in hinge so that you can’t lose the lid. We’ve also added a spill ring around the lid to catch any accidental spillages to save them getting on your clothes
