Do you remember Hustler’s first ever Farm Trader test? In March 2010 Farm Trader featured on their cover Todd McBreen, a North Canterbury beef farmer fattening cattle destined for Macca’s burgers… with Hustler’s newly released SL350 bale feeder which he’d just taken delivery of.

Fast forward 6 years to May 2016 after a trouble free run, feeding 1000 bales each year, Todd (an early adopter) is one of the first in his area to take delivery of the all new model, the SL360X.

A special thanks to John Bassett from North Canterbury Equipment for sharing this video, and supporting Todd McBreen with his equipment needs.

Todd’s prefers Hustler’s linkage feeders for his steep hill country beef farm, evidenced by the size of the duals on his tractor for added stability and safety when the going gets steep. Todd invested in his first Hustler feeder in 2010 because he was sick and tired of the downtime and hassle he’d had from his old feeder continuously breaking down, problems he hasn’t had to put up with since.
